“ If in Houston, visit El Tiempo Cantina off 290. It was the most amazing dinner we had while in town. We were greeted by manager Juan Morales when we walked in the door and developed a friendship. He and his staff went above and beyond taking care of two Canadian “foodies”. The experience was higher than we even anticipated when the restaurant came highly recommended. The food was so fresh and juicy and we didn’t wait long. The cheesecake filled churros were outstanding and finished the meal off perfectly. The entire staff treated us like family and took very good care of us. We’re going back before we leave. ”

“ We stayed at the Fairfield Inn and they recommended we grab dinner here. Stepping inside was like walking into another dimension. The ambiance is breathtaking and instantly we were warmly greeted. I would like to shout out Maha for being so attentive and helpful. I had the Chicken a la Mexicana and it was superb; perfectly cooked and served with fresh tortillas that were so good I wanted to take some to go. Maha took care of several tables in our area and I watched how he interacted with each person and how thoughtful he was. A family at a nearby table misplaced a personal item and Maha immediately went into action (spoiler alert; the family realized they had it with them all the time) to help the family without question. Maha’s attentive service is the reason I will go back the next time I’m in Houston. Can’t wait to try other dishes! ”

“ This place did not disappoint. We were amazed at the quality of service and food. The inside was beautifully designed. Greeted warmly as soon as we walked in and approached at least 3 associates to make sure we were taking care of. We purchased the filet mignon fajitas, and it was some of the best fajitas I've had and worth every penny. This place came to us as a recommendation, and we are happy we listened. Also the restrooms and restaurant were clean and well maintained. ”

“ It was very good. El Tiempo prices are very high. The food is delicious and the place was empty. So, empty the waiters were playing a game. Which didn't bother me at all because they were very attentive and at least they weren't on their phones not paying attention. But, I do think if El Tiempo reduced their prices a bit they would get more traffic and the waiters would be kept busy. Everyone that I recommend going to El Tiempo says it's too pricy so we end up going elsewhere. They have wonderful warm salsa and great drinks. The chicken fajitas were great! And their atmosphere is awesome. Very authentic. ”
